Finding Home this Christmas
Your gift is a warm Canadian hug to children, women and men who have fled their home and are seeking safety in Canada. They have taken a huge risk in the hope of a better future.
Welcome Basket
Filled with toiletries, personal care items, tissues, lotion, hand sanitizer, a notebook, pen, umbrella and Canadian Treats, this basket is a great way to welcome a Refugee Claimant into our community.
Christmas Gift for a Child
What a wonderful gift for a child’s first Christmas in Canada. A gift suitable for the child’s age and interests is a perfect way to help them feel like they belong.
Bus Pass
Gift the gift of independence and autonomy as Refugee Claimants grocery shop, go to school and seek employment.
Blanket & Bedding
Provide blankets, sheets, pillows and pillowcases for Refugee Claimants. It’s a warm welcome, especially during the Canadian winter. When they move into their own rental home, they take their bedding with them!
Groceries
Provide nutritional food for a Refugee Claimant and their family. They have escaped conflict, violence and insecurity and often arrive with almost nothing after spending everything they have for a new start. Your gift of a food box is a gift of kindness.
