September - Planting Seeds for the Future
We are so honoured to have been awarded another grant through the United Way BC Work Experience Opportunities Program, allowing us to continue providing newcomers with meaningful Canadian work experience. When we asked participants what they had learned through their work experience, they highlighted organization, teamwork, self-motivation, accountability, and time management. While the program provides hands-on experience in the workplace, it also helps participants build the skills, confidence, and habits they need to move forward toward future employment opportunities in Canada.
